11. April 2023
Interdisciplinary lecture series "Perspectives on the sustainability crisis", organized by Dr. Lukas Wagner from the Physics Department
In the lectures, disciplinary perspectives on an urgent interdisciplinary topic will be discussed based the observation that an understanding - let alone solutions - to the various problems surrounding the crossing of planetary boundaries is only possible through a combined approach of different disciplines.
Every Tuesday (4-6 p.m., c.t.), a lecture will be given by a scientist from a basic research discipline (physics, chemistry, biology, earth sciences, psychology, history, economics, engineering, law, linguistics, etc.).
Lectures will focus on the concept of sustainability, related challenges, and possible solutions from the perspective of the discipline. The language of the lectures is English.
The lectures will take place in the physics deparment´s lecture hall in Renthof 5, Marburg, but you can also join virtually. The link will be available on the website here.
